The Authentic Overhaul began with a complete renovation of a dated, compartmentalized kitchen, where structural reinforcement and wallpaper removal were essential to its total transformation.
Custom details, such as a solid marble farmhouse sink and a butcher block-topped island, were integrated to create a beautiful and highly functional chef’s environment tailored for a large family. This focus on reimagining space to blend modern utility with timeless aesthetics set the foundation for the home’s reconstruction, ensuring every square foot was optimized for contemporary living.
This philosophy of spatial efficiency extended into the master suite, where an oversized yet outdated bathroom was reimagined into a grand-scale spa sanctuary. By reclaiming an underutilized cedar closet and hallway, we created a luxurious steam shower complete with a lounging bench and body sprays, while a striking black soaker tub and polished nickel fixtures anchor the room. The design seamlessly blurs the lines between modern and traditional using marble-clad walls, radiant-heated floors, and warm teak accents, creating a serene retreat that honors the home’s original scale.
