Welcome to this stunning transformation of a historic traditional home into a modern, contemporary residence. Our goal was to honor the original charm while introducing clean lines, open spaces and functional design elements. As life evolves, so does personal aesthetic and the way in which we interact with our homes. As we curate homes for individual clients, I am inspired to create spaces that mutually function and are beautiful. Honoring a historic home doesn’t necessarily mean restoring original details and functions. This renovation allowed the elements that were working in this century home to be featured while updating or modifying those that weren’t. We removed a staircase, opened the floor plan, invited natural light via new and enlarged windows and modernized finishes. Our team carefully crafted each room to serve the inhabitants with furnishings to completion. From the reimagined living area with a focal point sculptural fireplace to the custom kitchen with minimalist finishes and expansive views, and the artist studio with a bold wall-covered ceiling, every detail was crafted to blend timeless elegance with modern functionality and beauty. We are thrilled with how this space now tells a new story while respecting the past.
