About LYS

Passionate about design from a young age, Laura was raised in Northeast Ohio and earned a BS in Interior Design from The Ohio State University. After years spent designing spaces coast to coast with top design firms in San Francisco, Virginia and Naples, Laura has brought her experience back to Ohio. She opened the doors to her Storefront Studio in 2014 where she enjoys creating thoughtful, classic and always comfortable interiors. Her signature design principles are well-balanced scale and the juxtaposition of materials. Laura excels at extracting clients unique personal style and creating high-quality, authentic designs.

Meredith earned a BS in Interior Design from University of Cincinnati. Leading projects throughout the U.S. and over seas has given her extensive knowledge of the design process from a practical perspective. Responsible for the strategic direction of our design team, Meredith is a talented designer as well as a skilled and precise Project Manager. Her renderings portray the technical artistry of design while clearly conveying concepts to our clients.

Deb brings a diverse set of skills and attributes to our team. While attending Kent State University, she studied Interior Design, but as life has it, she has spent her career in operations and administration. Deb now directs the daily operations of our Studio & Storefront to implement the vision of our Principal while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met on time and per process, with a smile.

Heather joins the team with nearly a decade of experience in the industry and holds an Interior Design degree from Kent State University. She is passionate about facilitating the perfect selection for clients' individual design style and has extensive knowledge surrounding all things tile.

Krystina earned a BFA in Interior Design from The North Coast College. She has experience with lighting and residential design. Her passion for design is an asset to our team.

Lindsay joins our team after earning her BA in Interior Design from The University of Akron. She manages projects to completion and ensures that everything is on point. Lindsay has great communication skills and solid attention to detail. She keeps projects moving forward and on target.

Jaclyn joins the team with experience in residential project management, office management, and tile sales. Her diverse background in the Interior Design industry gives Jaclyn a great foundation for managing the fine details of projects. Jaclyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University.

Jaclyn joins our team with a BA in Interior Design from Kent State University. Her background in commercial space planning translates well to the technical planning in residential design. She works closely with our design team to assist with design documentation, creating presentations, and assisting with installations.

Adrienne joins our team with a BA from John Carroll University and an Interior Design Associate of Applied Business from Cuyahoga Community College. She has a keen eye for design and experience in selecting materials and finishes. Adrienne is an integral part of our design team and assists with installations, presentations, design documentation, and many other aspects of the design process.

Kaylen is a skilled and creative designer who collaborates with our design team to draft beautiful and technical drawings and renderings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Kent State.

Matt has years of practical experience in the field of architecture. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University and his philosophy is to "be methodical". He practices this daily while drafting interior design documents for our renovation and new construction projects.

Michelle joins the team with years of experience in both corporate business and community service. She keeps our studio running smoothly while warmly welcoming clients and coordinating schedules.

Ashley earned an Associate of Applied Business in Corporate Accounting from Stark State University, graduating with distinction. While maintaining her 4.0, she learned the ropes at LYSHD and has become an integral member of our team. Ashley has practical experience working around the world.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University. Her Retail Merchandising and Product Development studies and retail management and merchandising experience transfer well to her role in Procurement. Katie is also excellent with product selections and styling.

Erin earned a BS in Athletic Training with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Mount Union College, graduating Cum Laude. She utilizes her meticulous organizational skills while expediting client orders and installations. Erin also manages our Designer Trade Program.
