Meticulous Modern

Our clients had a modern, clean-lined aesthetic and the house was extremely traditional. We collaborated on every detail of space planning to create a personalized floorplan including a gourmet kitchen, well appointed owners’ suite and functional home office. Floral wall covering, festoons and jabots and plenty of pink tile were removed and new, modern finishes, furnishings and light fixtures were implemented. A few special features include a sleek marble fireplace surround, a full bar for entertaining, custom powder room console vanity, a family entry hall with drop zone and the addition of striking paneling, a grand stair and bold wall covering in the foyer. Custom furnishings full of spunk and color were the finishing touch!

Our third collaboration with this client expands on a whole-home renovation completed in an earlier phase, this time through a thoughtful addition designed to elevate both function and style. The new color-drenched side entry mudroom introduces a more casual entrance for family and close friends, welcomed with a bold burnt persimmon hue, brass mesh detailing, and abundant storage.

Upstairs, the addition becomes a hardworking extension of the home, featuring a kitchenette, full bathroom, guest suite, home office, entertainment lounge, and a full home gym. The design reflects the client’s preference for crisp white backdrops accented with high-contrast black, glamorous brass fixtures, and bold color notes in art and upholstery.

The bathroom embraces playful sophistication with polka dot and pill-shaped tile with contrasting grout, paired with artful wallcovering. The guest bedroom evokes the feel of a luxury hotel suite, complete with traversing drapery trimmed in citron tape trim, a tailored settee with contrast welt, and curated statement pillows that bring a touch of personality. An entertainment area add to the home’s versatility, balancing everyday function with spaces designed for relaxation and hosting.

This addition enhances the home with a meticulous balance of clean-lined modernism, playful detailing, and luxurious touches that reflect the client’s distinct style.
