This addition and renovation goal was to maximize the added square footage and create a modern home chef’s kitchen and spa-like master suite. Floating shelves, a cast concrete sink, chef’s pantry and clean lines kept a modern aesthetic while warm tones kept the space comfortable. A challenge of low ceiling height was overcome with an expansive feeling of openness. The master bath had space constraints, which we used to our advantage. In order to allow for both a tub and shower we designed a wet room enclosing both.
