This spectacular design to completion project was a several year collaboration inclusive of site development, space planning, interior and exterior detailing, finish specification and furnishings. Laura and each member of the LYSHD team collaborated down to the finest details with a talented team of so many amazing partners, trades and vendors to implement our vision and materialize the goals of our trusting clients. Down to the original commissioned artwork, designer dish ware and curated seasonal holiday decor, our team enjoyed creating incredibly custom and authentic designs throughout. From the early schematic design stage where we introduced concepts such as the custom entry glass and metal mirroring door assemblies within stone walls for the entry hall, the groin vaulted dining room with lime paint finish and a marble adorned bathing room in the primary suite complete with heated chaise lounge and privacy windows. Destinations throughout the home were carefully crafted and curated to feel like a luxurious remote getaway, such as a spa bath with sauna, steam shower, cold plunge pool and private walk out lounge with a current pool and private dining. The lower level boasts a bar designed for entertaining with a nod to the speakeasy era inclusive of burl wood and brass cabinetry and shelving to display a bourbon collection and serve a crowd. A highly specialized golf simulator with putting green, motorized drapery, upholstered walls and thoughtful millwork was outfitted for training and entertaining. Custom designed, thoughtfully scaled light fixtures and furnishings inside and out unite with one of a kind pieces of bespoke furniture and objects to create a very special home that is both showpiece and comfortable all at once. This home embodies classic traditional architecture while featuring updated juxtapositional elements customized for the modern lifestyle.
