This project was all about breathing new life into a beautiful home with great space and architectural detailing. An updated palette, finishes, and furnishings were thoughtfully implemented. Neutralizing the palette to allow the architecture to become visible were design objectives. Well-made cabinetry was painted while a new backsplash, counters, and lighting transformed the kitchen without a major overhaul. A fresh coat of paint and extremely comfortable furnishings with varied scale, shape, and material balanced the Great Room. A feature wall of shiplap and an updated furniture plan completed the Hearth room.
